Chevening Scholarship for Young Indian Journalists
University of Westminster, London
Received the Chevening Scholarship for Young Indian Journalists; spent three months at the University of Westminster in London — reading, travelling, reporting, and studying the British press at close quarters.
The fellowship included a month-long internship with The Independent, London, where the newsroom's rhythms, editing culture, and long-form story telling left a lasting mark.
Reporting during internship focused on the state of British Railways after privatisation — commuter frustration, delayed services, and the everyday politics of a public system in transition.
